Who We Are and What These Terms Cover
These terms apply to every order placed with Fe Vesture through this website. Fe Vesture is a clothing studio with stores in New York and Amsterdam, and we ship worldwide. By placing an order you accept the terms set out below, so please read them before you buy. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it properly rather than pointing you back at the small print.
Orders and Payment
An order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract once we send you a confirmation email with a dispatch note, not at the moment you complete checkout. We may decline an order if a piece has sold out, if a price was listed in error, or if we cannot verify the payment or the delivery address.
All prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable taxes where required. Import duties are not included and remain the responsibility of the customer.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, PayPal, Skrill and Klarna. Payment is taken at the point the order is placed.
Discount codes cannot be combined with one another and apply only to full-price pieces unless the promotion says otherwise.
If a price is obviously wrong, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice to confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Please check your confirmation email carefully. If any detail is wrong, tell us within twelve hours and we will amend the order before it leaves the studio.
Delivery and Shipping
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day leave the studio the same day. Everything else ships the following working day. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the parcel is collected.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees. Customs checks, weather and carrier delays sit outside our control, but if a parcel stops moving for more than five working days we will chase it on your behalf and replace it if it is lost.
Standard delivery is a flat rate of $15.00 and is free on orders over $500.
Express delivery is available at checkout in most countries and is complimentary during promotional periods.
Local pickup from our New York and Amsterdam stores is free and is usually ready within two hours.
Returns and Exchanges
Returns are open for sixty days from delivery, worn or unworn, with no explanation required. Send the piece back in a condition we can reasonably resell or repair, with the original tags where possible, and we will refund the full purchase price to your original payment method within ten working days of the parcel reaching us. Exchanges for a different size or colour are free in both directions. Sale pieces follow the same sixty-day window. Only made-to-measure orders and pierced jewellery are excluded, and we tell you clearly at checkout when that applies.
Repairs and the Three-Year Guarantee
Every Fe Vesture piece is covered in full for three years against faults in the cloth, the stitching or the finishing. If something fails inside that window we repair it, and if it cannot be repaired we replace it. Repairs are free for the first two years and charged at cost after that. Ordinary wear — a thinning elbow, a stretched cuff, a hem worn through — is not a fault, but we will still repair it for you at cost. Both stores run a free alterations service on anything we have made, whether you bought it last week or five years ago.
Product Information and Availability
We photograph every piece in daylight and describe the cloth as accurately as we can, but screens vary and a colour may read slightly differently in person. That difference on its own is not a fault, and it is covered by our returns policy in any case. Stock levels shown on the site update continuously, though a piece can still sell out between your adding it to the cart and completing checkout. Everything is made in small numbers, so styles do sell out and some never come back. Where a piece is returning we say so on the product page, and roughly when.
Intellectual Property
The Fe Vesture name, the wordmark, the photography, the garment patterns and the written content on this site belong to us or to the people we commission. You are welcome to share our images and link to our pages for personal and editorial use with a credit. You may not copy our patterns, resell our photography, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests we endorse a product or service that is not ours.
Our Liability to You
We are responsible for loss you suffer as a direct and foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes, Governing Law and Contact
We may update these terms as the business changes. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it, and we keep dated copies so we can show you which that was. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes will be heard in the courts of New York unless the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim there instead.
